There's great & then there is Joel. I've been to salons before where I had unrealistic expectations, and they did it anyway. And of course the result was never what I thought it would be. Joel told me straight away that he couldn't do what I wanted. But offered alternative solutions that would be better. He went out of his way to explain the science/chemistry of what works w/my hair & what doesn't. And voilà ! The end result was better than I could've imagined. He's a master of his craft
