I had high hopes for this salon, as the service, interior, and employees were kind. However, I left quite disappointed with my nail treatment. Unfortunately, the pricing details were unclear—the nail extension costs around €30, on top of the €65 base price. I visited for a simple, natural look, but the technician repeatedly tried to convince me to add extras, despite my firm refusal.
Though the technician seemed like a trainee, I still expected attention to detail and clean work. Instead, I had to point out several mistakes during the 3-hour session. Even now, I’m dissatisfied with the final result. The shape is far from what I requested, and the base application is patchy and uneven. For €95, I expected much better quality. Overall, I feel like it wasn’t worth the cost and left disappointed.
I recently returned to Ab.Fabulous Studio eager for another great experience after my first appointment with Nastya, who did an absolutely flawless job. Unfortunately, today’s visit left me frustrated and disappointed, especially since I booked the service for a special birthday holiday week and am now left without time to get them fixed.
I was assigned to a junior nail artist, and though I went in with simple design requests, the result felt rushed and lacked the usual attention to detail I expect at this salon. I repeatedly mentioned that the nails weren’t straight, despite her attempts to fix them, my nails ended up looking poorly shaped, bulky and on my smaller hands, the wide unfiled sides are particularly noticeable. The final look felt closer to cheap press-on nails than what I’d expect from a high-end salon like this.
I’d assumed the quality would be consistent for standard styles, regardless of which artist I booked, especially with only a minor price difference (10€) between junior and senior artists. However, the gap in skill was clear, which left me questioning why the pricing is so similar.
The receptionist offered a 20% discount to make up for the experience, and I appreciate the gesture, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to make up for how let down I felt and ruining this way my vacation as I will have to try remake them there loosing time from my holiday. This experience doesn’t reflect the salon’s usual quality, as I was genuinely happy with my previous visit. I would return for Nastya’s expertise, but today’s service from the junior artist did not meet my expectations, especially at this price point. I would not recommend.
Best nail studio in Vienna - if you wanna get trendy, extraordinary nails, while having a nice chat and drinking coffee, this is the studio for you. I've been here twice and plan on coming back regularly from now on. Everything is possible and all the girls are so creative and sweet. The two girls at the reception/coffee bar were total sweethearts, too. Can't wait to be back soon!
